This is a low-frequency electromagnetic stimulator for electrophysiological diaphragm clamp stimulation experiments. The instrument generates a variety of waveforms, frequencies, intensities and spatially distributed magnetic fields and then investigates the firing characteristics of cells before and after the action of very low-frequency magnetic fields and ion channel characteristics by two methods: neuronal firing and diaphragm clamp ion channel. It is compatible with the membrane clamp and does not increase electromagnetic interference in the experiment.
Main control unit: The main control MCU adopts Atmel ATmega128A, which is used to control the work of the whole circuit. It is also equipped with crystal oscillator and reset circuit.
Magnetic field generation circuit: to realize the generation of two stable magnetic fields.
The switch state of ON1-ON4 can control the opening and closing of the two magnetic fields by switching the MCU.
The size of the magnetic field can be adjusted by adjusting the duty cycle of PWM1-PWM4 by MCU.
Power supply circuit: The circuit as a whole is powered by an external 9V power supply.
LM1117-33 voltage conversion chip is used to convert the 9V voltage to 3.3V, so as to supply power to the main control chip.
Coding rotation circuit: The circuit is connected to two coding knobs, which can detect whether the knob is forward or reverse, so as to decide whether to increase or decrease the magnetic field.
LCD display and channel switching circuit: This circuit realizes real-time display of the current magnetic field size on the LCD screen.
The channel switching button allows switching between two magnetic fields.
The switching stimulus frequency shifts from one range to the other while the stimulus is in progress.
All parameters of a stand-alone unit can be adjusted via the control panel, and each channel is internally connected to any other channel without the need for additional connecting wires. Each channel can also be connected to multiple other channels simultaneously.
Status indication circuit
LEDs are used to indicate that the current circuit is in normal operation.
LED1 is used to indicate that the first magnetic field is on.
LED2 is used to indicate that the second magnetic field is on.
Beeper is used to indicate the switch between magnetic fields.
Program download circuit: Program download is realized by JTAG circuit.
